Feyenoord is only too aware of its social function. The club receives a huge number of requests from all kinds of good causes every week. That’s why Feyenoord has set up structural national and international partnerships with Rotterdam’s Erasmus MC Sophia Children’s Hospital and Unicef respectively.
Feyenoord organises a range of fund-raising activities for and in association with Unicef, while the patients of Sophia Children’s Hospital can count on frequent visits from the club’s players and trips to De Kuip to see their heroes in action. Chairman Jorien Van den Herik also supports the partnership with regular visits to the hospital.
The partnerships with both Unicef and Sophia are open-ended.
