Feyenoord signed a five-year partnership deal with Chinese company Viva China on Tuesday. The partnership, which is intended to help drive the development of football in China, is by quite some way the biggest foreign partnership Feyenoord has entered into up till now.
A delegation from Feyenoord travelled to China’s capital city Beijing earlier this week to close the deal with Viva China. The plans and ambitions for the coming years were also presented, in front of more than fifty Chinese media parties.
