PITTORDRIE SWITCH FOR SNOYL

Ferne Snoyl will finish the season in Scotland after securing a loan deal with Aberdeen. The left back joins the club coached by Jimmy Calderwood, who pulled on the shirts of both Willem II and NEC during his playing career. The mission Snoyl has chosen to accept involves pitching in to help the club pull clear of relegation trouble. ‘I’m very happy with this. It is a great opportunity to get back to playing football,’ admitted the player, who has a contract at Feyenoord that runs until mid-2007.

Snoyl got the nod ahead of an injured Pascal Bosschaart at the start of the season, but has found himself out of the team with the return of Bosschaart.
