Serginho Greene and Romeo Castelen have been named in Marco van Basten’s provisional squad for Holland’s 12 November pre-Germany 2006 friendly against Italy. The Dutch coach overlooked the two Feyenoorders for the national team’s qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Macedonia last time round. Now that the Dutch have booked their place in next year’s finals, Greene and Castelen join mainstay teammate Dirk Kuyt in the provisional squad for the Italy game.
