INTERNATIONALS ARRIVE BACK AT DE KUIP

Erwin Koeman saw the last of his internationals return to training Friday morning after a clutch of midweek World Cup and friendly fixtures. Hossam Ghaly, Karim Saidi and Ali Boussaboun all reported back to De Kuip, a day after Dirk Kuyt and Alexander Östlund got back into Rotterdam. The five all returned to the club without any niggles. Only Östlund can really look back on a successful few days. His Sweden side edged out the Czech Republic in Gothenburg and the defender played the whole game.

Tunisia also won their game, but Saidi was denied any pitch time, while Ghaly went down with Egypt against Portugal (0-2) and Boussaboun lost with Morocco against Togo (0-1). Dirk Kuyt was in the Dutch team that threw away a two-goal lead at home to Germany in a 2-2 draw.
