EKRAMY ARRIVES IN HOLLAND

Sherif Ekramy flew into Schiphol airport Thursday morning after being awarded a work permit earlier in the week. The Egyptian keeper was fatigued but thrilled to arrive in Holland. He was also thrilled to hear that Thursday training had been cancelled. ‘Because the journey was tiring and the farewell to my family was emotional. That makes it difficult to train. But I’m happy that the adventure at Feyenoord is about to begin, because I’m really up for it.’

The 22-year-old goes straight into the first-team squad after the departure of Gabor Babos to NEC on loan.
