FEYENOORD ADD BELGIAN TO STRIKE FORCE

Feyenoord have reached agreement with Sint Truiden for the transfer to De Kuip of Benjamin De Ceulaer. The Belgian striker is set to sign a three-year deal with the club, with a two-year extension option, after already shaking on personal terms. The player had a year left on his contract at the Belgian first division club. Technical Director Mark Wotte will consult with De Ceulaer before deciding where the player will play his football in the foreseeable future.

‘In that talk we’ll decide whether we’ll loan out Benjamin for the first year or whether he’ll join the A squad immediately. If we decide to loan him out, we’d prefer an Eredivisie club,’ confirmed Wotte, who described De Ceulaer as ‘a talented and fast striker’.

De Ceulaer is currently out in Italy where he represented the Belgian Under-21s against San Marino. The Belgians won the game 4-0 and De Ceulaer grabbed one of the goals.
