BULGARIAN BANDALOVSKI SEALS DE KUIP DEAL

Feyenoord have signed a principle agreement with Bulgarian Ivan Bandalovski. The 18-year-old defender is set to put his signature to an eighteen-month contract, which includes a clause that would allow the Rotterdammers to extend the contract. The youngster will join the first-team squad when it reconvenes after the winter break. The deal is the first to flow from the club’s association with former De Kuip favourite Andrej Jeliazkov, who played in Rotterdam in the early eighties.

Ivan Bandalovski learnt his trade at Levski Sofia, before becoming a first-team regular at Litex Lovech, a club he also played for in this term’s Uefa Cup tournament. Bandalovski captains the Bulgaria under-19 side and has one full call-up to his name.
