LEONARDO BACK IN THE FRAME

Coach Bert van Marwijk added Leonardo to his squad Thursday. The 20-year-old Brazilian has been out for over a year due to a series of ankle injuries, but a hatful of goals for Feyenoord reserves in the past few weeks means that he's is raring to go. 'Leo is fully fit again,' confirmed Technical Director Rob Baan. 'That's why he's been added to the squad. He now has to fight for a return to the first team.'

Salomon Kalou also participated in the Thursday afternoon training session. The Ivorian has not secured a definite return to the first-team squad however. Robin van Persie's ankle problem meant that he trained alone, but he's expected to be fit again in time for the Willem II game coming Sunday. Thomas Buffel was given a day off after a tough week.
