JUNE LAUNCH FOR FEYENOORD KOREAN WEBSITE

In great news for Korean fans, Feyenoord has announced the launch of a brand-new Korean site in June. Marketing manager Chris Woerts broke the news Thursday at an informal jaw-jaw with the Korean press. The new venture is a logical response to the growing demand for info about Feyenoord in the homeland of Chong-Gug Song. In the run-up to the launch, Korean fans can email Song via a special pop-up on feyenoord.com.

The new venture will bring the total number of official Feyenoord sites to four, with English, Dutch and Japanese flavours already online. Chong-Gug Song already receives a mailbox full of emails every day from Korean admirers through his personal players site at feyenoord.nl, and the country’s football fans are responsible for generating a large percentage of hits on the Dutch and English websites. The added attraction of Nam-Il Kim is expected to add to that traffic. The new website aims to upgrade the service to these visitors by offering news and views in their own language.
