BOSVELT HELPS ORANJE OVERCOME GERMANY

Paul Bosvelt played the full ninety minutes as Holland blew away World Cup runners-up Germany to earn a fine 3-1 victory in Gelsenkirchen Wednesday. National coaches Dick Advocaat and Willem van Hanegem saw Bosvelt and co restrict the home side to a couple of chances as their men in orange bagged victory in what’s always an emotionally charged affair, even for friendlies. The goals came from Patrick Kluivert, Jerrel Hasselbaink and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
