THREE ORANJE CAPS FOR FEYENOORD

Dick Advocaat has called up a trio of Feyenoorders for Holland’s opening Euro 2004 qualifier against Belarus Saturday. Paul Bosvelt, Pierre van Hooijdonk and Patrick Paauwe have been invited to join the squad Wednesday as it prepares for the game at Eindhoven’s Philips Stadium. Paauwe last played for the national team in the friendly with Spain last March, but was overlooked by Advocaat for the away encounters with the United States and Norway.

The 20-man squad will be reduced to 18 on the day of the game. The full squad: Keepers: Edwin van der Sar (Fulham), Ronald Waterreus (PSV). Defenders: Patrick Paauwe (Feyenoord), Frank de Boer (FC Barcelona), Kevin Hofland (PSV), Jaap Stam (Lazio Roma), Michael Reiziger (FC Barcelona), Fernando Ricksen (Glasgow Rangers). Midfielders: Paul Bosvelt (Feyenoord), Mark van Bommel (PSV), Philip Cocu (FC Barcelona), Edgar Davids (Juventus), Rafael van der Vaart (Ajax). Attackers: Pierre van Hooijdonk (Feyenoord), Boudewijn Zenden (Chelsea), Jerrel Hasselbaink (Chelsea), Patrick Kluivert (FC Barcelona), Roy Makaay (Deportivo la Coruna), Ruud van Nistelrooij (Manchester United), Andy van der Meyde (Ajax).
