MORE MEN DOWN

INNSBRUCK – The bad news from the Alps is that the Feyenoord treatment room has to accommodate two new arrivals after the ‘friendly’ against FC Kaiserslautern. Tomasz Rzasa and Ferne Snoyl both failed to come through the match unscathed. Rzasa picked up a sore shin early on and Snoyl went up for a header and came down with five stitches and a great big headache.

Rzasa took a hefty knock to his shin in a man-on-man with Nenad Bjelica and, after trying to run it off for five minutes, was ultimately forced to leave the field. Club doctor Van Linschoten was hopeful. 'We have to wait and see how it looks tomorrow, but I don’t think it’s bad and Tomasz should be back in training soon.' The same probably goes for Ferne Snoyl. The young left-winger was taken off after a head-to-head with Torsten Reuter and treated to five stitches in the dressing room.
