JON’S IN THE GOALS

In one of the week’s international friendlies, World Cup qualifiers Denmark were too classy for Israel in Copenhagen Wednesday night, running out 3-1 winners. Feyenoord favourite Jon Dahl Tomasson played the first half and scored the Danes second goal on 13 minutes with a 25-metre drive, before being rested in the second period. The evening was marred by bomb threats and anti-terrorism protests.
