Karim El Ahmadi and Sofyan Amrabat are the first Feyenoord players to get their boarding passes for Russia 2018. Morocco national coach Hervé Renard announced his final 23-man squad on Thursday afternoon, after naming a provisional roster earlier this week.
It will be the first time either player has taken part in a World Cup. Morocco secured their place last November for the first time in 20 years with a win against Ivory Coast. Amrabat (21) made his official debut for his nation in that game. El Ahmadi (33) has been a regular in the Morocco side for many years and currently boasts close to 50 caps.
Morocco have been drawn in Group B with Iran, Spain and Portugal. The North Africans start their campaign against the Iranians on Friday 15 June, with Portugal (Wednesday 20 June) and Spain (Monday 25 June) the other fixtures.
