Feyenoord will take on FC Zorya Luhansk in the play-off round of the Europa League after being drawn against the Ukrainian Premier League side in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday. The first leg is at De Kuip on Thursday 21 August, with the return a week later on Thursday 28 August. The prize for the winner is a place in the group phase of the Europa League.
Zorya Luhansk have made a sluggish start to the new Ukrainian Premier League season, losing their first two matches, which leaves them at the bottom of the fourteen-team table.
Zorya Luhansk meet Feyenoord in the play-off round after aggregate victories in the second and third qualifying rounds against KF Laçi from Albania and Molde FK from Norway respectively. Zorya Luhansk played both home ties in Kyiv, as UEFA has not allowed the club to play in their stadium due to the ongoing unrest in the eastern Ukraine.
