Feyenoord sign two defenders

Feyenoord will leave for the club’s preseason training camp in Austria with two new players in their ranks. The Dutch champions have signed Ridgeciano Haps from AZ and Jeremiah St. Juste from sc Heerenveen, with both players putting their signatures to their contracts around midday on Tuesday at De Kuip. A few hours later the two defenders boarded the plane to central Europe with their new teammates.

Ridgeciano Haps
24-year-old Ridgeciano Haps joins Feyenoord on a five-year deal that runs until mid-2022. The left back made his debut for AZ in 2013-2014 and has made 90 Eredivisie appearances up till now.

Haps, who will wear the number 5 shirt this coming season, is the player Feyenoord identified to replace Terence Kongolo, who moved to AS Monaco earlier in the close season.

Jeremiah St. Juste
20-year-old central defender Jeremiah St. Juste arrives from sc Heerenveen. The Under 21s international signed a four-year contract at De Kuip, running until mid-2021 and has been given the number 4 shirt. St. Juste made his sc Heerenveen debut aged 18 and has now clocked up 69 Eredivisie appearances.
