Jong Feyenoord’s match against Leicester City U23, which was scheduled for this Tuesday 30 October, has been postponed. The decision comes after the tragic helicopter crash near the EPL club’s stadium on Saturday night, which may have taken several lives, including that of the owner of Leicester City.
Jong Feyenoord were due to meet Leicester City U23 in the Premier League International Cup, a friendly tournament involving the development squads of English and selected European clubs. It fixture in a group that also includes Reading and Sparta Prague.
No decision has yet to be taken on whether and when the fixture will go ahead. Jong Feyenoord will now take on Quick Boys 1 in Katwijk on Tuesday, kick off 19:30 CET.
Feyenoord would like to extend its sympathy to all those involved at Leicester City.
