Group has ‘fantastic will’ says Advocaat

The remaining half an hour of normal time and the extra 30 minutes of extra time were not particularly entertaining, as Advocaat acknowledged. ‘It was a very strange match, of course, knowing that one goal would probably be decisive. Neither Nicolai Jørgensen nor Orkun Kökcü did not make it to the end, although Advocaat said post-match that they seemed relatively fine. ‘The medical staff told me that they will probably be okay, but we’ll have to wait till tomorrow.’

Advocaat also made a point of complimenting his squad. ‘We are working very hard with each other every day to get this done. It’s not always pretty, but the results over the past few months say something about the quality of this group. In any case, the will of the group is fantastic, I cannot say anything against that.’
