Dilrosun signs four-year deal with Feyenoord

Feyenoord have added Javairo Dilrosun to their ranks. The striker arrives from Bundesliga outfit Hertha BSC, putting his signature to a contract that binds him to the club until mid-2026.

The one-time Oranje international is primarily known as a winger, but can play in various positions across the front line and as an attacking midfielder. The switch to De Kuip represents a return to the Netherlands for the 24-year-old after a foreign adventure. Dilrosun initially moved to Manchester City’s youth setup before heading to the Bundesliga.

He made his professional debut at Hertha BSC in 2018, ultimately racking up 59 official appearances. Last season saw Dilrosun play 34 times for French side Girondins Bordeaux on loan.

‘I’ve been in contact with coach Arne Slot for a while now,’ said Dilrosun. ‘He really wanted me to join, just like technical director Frank Arnesen. I got a good feeling from our talks. The club is ambitious, which appeals to me. I want to play attacking football in a team that has the ball a lot and for long periods. That’s why I’m happy to be able to play for Feyenoord.’

Dilrosun joined the rest of Arne Slot’s squad for training on Monday after signing his contract.
He will wear the number 11 shirt.
