Feyenoord and FC Krasnodar agree Vilhena switch
When the 24-year-old Dutch international does put pen to paper it will bring his time in the Feyenoord first team to an end after eight seasons. Vilhena actually arrived at the Feyenoord Academy at six years of age. The player was contracted to Feyenoord until the summer of 2020.
On the eve of his Russian switch, Vilhena is the longest serving player in the Feyenoord squad. He made his first-team debut as a youth player in January 2012. The left-footed subsequently developed into one of the midfield regulars. In 2016 he helped Feyenoord win the KNVB Cup, his first trophy, which was followed by the Eredivisie title, another KNVB Cup and two Johan Cruyff Shields. Vilhena is also the youngest Feyenoord player in history to make more than 200 Eredivisie appearances for the club.
Vilhena will have a medical soon in Russia before signing his contract.
