Feyenoord take 22 players to Germany

A 22-man Feyenoord squad set off for their Duisburg training camp on Friday. The Germany-bound travelling party boarded two coaches to ensure social distancing rules could be followed. Read on for the full list of players on the trip.

Feyenoord will take part in the Cup of Traditions in Duisburg on Saturday 22 August, before playing in the Helden Cup just over the border in Kufstein, Austria on Tuesday 25 and Friday 28 August.

Head coach Dick Advocaat will have 22 players at his disposal during the coming week, including Steven Berghuis. The club captain joined squad training earlier in the week and was deemed ready to travel. The same goes for Tyrell Malacia and Luis Sinisterra, who are still recovering from injuries.

No spectators will be admitted to any of the matches in either the Cup of Traditions or the Helden Cup. Feyenoord’s matches in both tournaments will be broadcast by FOX Sports, enabling fans to watch from the Netherlands. Feyenoord will also post regular tournament and training camp updates on the club’s official online channels.
