Feyenoord bulk up in midfield with Ezequiel Bullaude capture
Ezequiel Bullaude has joined Feyenoord from Argentinian outfit Godoy Cruz on a permanent deal. The 21-year-old midfielder has signed a contract binding him to the club until mid-2027.
‘I’m very happy that this opportunity came across my path,’ says a clearly proud Bullaude. ‘When I heard that Feyenoord were interested in me I didn’t hesitate for a moment. Now I’m here I’ll obviously have to adapt to life here, but I want to show the best of myself as soon as possible. Helping the team where necessary, in both attack and defence.’
Seen as an energetic box-to-box player, ‘Eze’ Bullaude started his career at Club Deportivo in his hometown Maipú, where he was quickly spotted by nearby professional club Godoy Cruz.
He made his debut for Godoy Cruz – currently fourth in Argentina’s Primera División – as a 17-year-old and soon won the fans over with his attacking mindset and huge appetite for work. The right-footed midfielder went on to make 96 official appearances for Godoy Cruz, scoring 18 goals and claiming nine assists.
As soon as his eligibility is confirmed, Bullaude will wear the number 30 shirt at Feyenoord.
