Feyenoord bolster squad with Poland-capped Szymański

Sebastian Szymański has arrived at Feyenoord on loan from Dinamo Moscow. As part of the deal, the club also have the option of acquiring the 23-year-old midfielder on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Szymański spent a significant part of his youth at record Polish champions Legia Warsaw and has been playing in the Russian Premier League since 2019. Capped 15 times by Poland, Szymański helped Dinamo Moscow secure a third-place finish last season.

‘A great new adventure’ is how Szymański describes his move to Rotterdam. ‘Feyenoord is a good club for young players like me. Last season the club made a big impression in Europe by reaching the final of the Conference League. I hope to be able to contribute to further success and look forward to making my debut at De Kuip and showing the fans what I can do.’

Szymański will wear the number 17 shirt at Feyenoord.
