Idrissi returns to Feyenoord on loan

Oussama Idrissi has agreed to return to his old stomping ground for the coming season. The 26-year-old, who spent a lot of his youth at Feyenoord Academy, arrives at De Kuip from Spanish Primera División side Sevilla FC on a one-year deal.
‘I learned a lot during the years I spent here at the youth academy, both as a footballer and as a person,’ said Idrissi. ‘I have very fond memories of that  and I’d like to make some more. It’s always been a dream of mine to play at De Kuip as a Feyenoord player. I’m hugely honoured that that’s now going to happen.’

Born in Bergen op Zoom in the south-west of the country, Idrissi initially joined local clubs DOSKO, FC Bergen and Halsteren. He made the switch to Feyenoord in 2011, spending his formative years at Varkenoord and became a regular in Feyenoord U17s and Feyenoord U19s. After a stint at FC Groningen, he joined AZ, where the  deft winger really found his feet, leading to a move to Sevilla in 2019.

Idrissi will wear the number 26 shirt at Feyenoord.
