Late goals give Feyenoord big win against Emmen

The crowd showed their appreciation for the departing Jens Toornstra ahead of kickoff, but when the match actually got underway the hosts gave them less to get excited about. Feyenoord had the upper hand the whole of the first half, but were unable to create any big chances. The game was an hour old by the time Quinten Timber opened the scoring, smashing in his first goal for the club; Dávid Hancko claimed the assist on his debut.

Feyenoord cut loose in the final ten minutes, however. Santiago Gimenez, Jacob Rasmussen and Sebastian Szymański all followed Timber’s example but netting their first goals for the club, bringing the final score to a more impressive 4-0.
