Lazio punish slow-starting Feyenoord in Rome
Feyenoord got their Europa League season off to a less than auspicious start, going down to a 4-2 defeat against Lazio in the Italian capital on Thursday evening. The hosts all but wrapped up the win early doors, storming into a three-goal lead within half an hour. Arne Slot’s side showed more guts in the second half, with substitute Santiago Gimenez netting twice, but the game was already up by then.
