Academy overview: Feyenoord U17 close with six-game winning streak

With Christmas in sight, last weekend saw the final game of the autumn series for most Feyenoord Academy youth teams. An overview can be read below.

Autumn champions Feyenoord U21 recorded a record win over ADO Den Haag: 8-1. Earlier in the afternoon, Feyenoord Under 19 suffered a defeat against their Ajax peers. In an entertaining mini-Classic, coach Davey van den Berg's team had plenty of chances, but failed to get a good result like last week.

Feyenoord Under 17 ended the first half of the season with a clear victory. Go Ahead Eagles were a size too small for coach Erik van der Ven's team at Varkenoord. Feyenoord Under 15 also goes into the winter break feeling good. After previously winning the autumn championship, the last game of the calendar year was also won.

On a visit to Excelsior Rotterdam, Feyenoord Under 14 lost their unbeaten status. Coach Miguel Dingjan's team surprisingly went down in Rotterdam-Kralingen. Feyenoord Under 13, on the other hand, took the win at NAC Breda. As did Feyenoord GU16, which was too strong for PSV on a visit to Eindhoven, winning 1-4.

Results 14 and 15 December:
Feyenoord U21 - ADO Den Haag U21 8-1
Feyenoord U19 - Ajax U19 0-1
Feyenoord U17 - Go Ahead Eagles U17 6-0
