Adrie Poldervaart appointed as new Feyenoord U21 head coach

Feyenoord have appointed Adrie Poldervaart as the new head coach of Feyenoord U21. The 55-year-old coach succeeds Pascal Bosschaart and joins after the summer break from Quick Boys. Poldervaart has signed a contract with Feyenoord until the summer of 2028.

'Being able to work at a top club like Feyenoord in the academy is a wonderful challenge for me,' said Poldervaart. 'After an extremely successful season at Quick Boys, I want to grab this opportunity with both hands. The possibilities and ambitions at Varkenoord appeal to me greatly and I am very eager to make a positive contribution to them.'

With the arrival of Poldervaart, Feyenoord are bringing in an experienced coach with a long track record in both professional football and the upper levels of amateur football. Born in Oudenhoorn, Poldervaart previously worked at clubs including OHVV, VV Nieuwenhoorn, VV Spijkenisse, Zwaluwen Vlaardingen, BVV Barendrecht, Excelsior Rotterdam, De Graafschap, FC Groningen and Fortuna Sittard.

This season, Poldervaart is under contract at amateur football powerhouse Quick Boys. With the club from Katwijk aan Zee, he retained the Tweede Divisie title last weekend, beating Kozakken Boys 2-1 in the final round of matches.
