Anel Ahmedhodžić next defensive reinforcement for Feyenoord

The right-footed defender, who can also play left center back, came up through the youth academy of Swedish top club Malmö FF. Ahmedhodžić played for Sweden's youth national teams and also made one friendly appearance for the Scandinavians, but the son of Bosnian parents then opted to play for Bosnia's senior team. He made 24 appearances for them.

In Malmö, the 1.90-meter-tall defender played 83 official matches as a great talent. After being loaned to Danish club Hobro IK, Ahmedhodžić became Swedish champion in 2021. In September of that year, he made his Champions League debut against Juventus. In total, he played seven preliminary round matches and five appearances in the main tournament.
