Feyenoord will release the documentary ‘Hartman’ on Thursday 1 May next. As the title suggests, this docu revolves around Quilindschy Hartman. Followed closely for months, the winger tells his story of the long road from his serious injury to his return to the pitch.
When Hartman suffers a serious knee injury at home against FC Utrecht on 31 March 2024, a long period without football awaits him. Something that is hard on him, as can be seen in the 43-minute documentary that gives a picture of the person behind the footballer.
On his way to full recovery, you get to know Quilindschy and those around him better. His life apart from football is covered, as well as those who support him when he needs it most. Like his girlfriend Kristy, best friend Ezra, as well as his dog Teddy.
A rock-solid mentality brings Hartman back on the pitch at De Kuip almost a year later. That a return to the highest level cannot be taken for granted is shown in the documentary, which premieres on Thursday 1 May.
‘Hartman’ is produced by Rotterdam-based REPRESENT and can be seen exclusively on Feyenoord ONE from next week.
