Feyenoord has signed Eva van Deursen as a new player. The 26-year-old midfielder joins on a free transfer from Spanish side SD Eibar and signed a contract at De Kuip that ties her to the club until mid-2027.
"I feel proud and grateful to now officially be part of Feyenoord Vrouwen 1," says Van Deursen. "The conversations I had with the club were positive. I’m impressed by the facilities at Varkenoord, and I believe in the club’s vision. In short, it didn’t take me long to decide to take this great step."
Van Deursen began her football career at amateur club RKVVO in Veldhoven. Through CTO Eindhoven, the former youth international made the move to the United States, where she played for the Arizona State Devils.
In the winter of 2023, she returned to Europe and joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen. A year later, the Brabant native swapped Germany for Spanish side SD Eibar. In the past season, Van Deursen played 29 matches in the Primera División Femenina.
