Feyenoord acquires Korede Osundina from Orange County SC

Korede Osundina is the first player to make the move from collaborative partner Orange County SC to Feyenoord. The 19-year-old American signed a contract on Wednesday morning in the Boardroom of De Kuip that ties him to the club until the middle of 2026.

Mark Ruijl, Head of Global Football at Feyenoord: "Korede is a versatile forward who, despite his young age, has already played two seasons in the first team of Orange County SC. He is also now part of the national youth teams of the United States. With his speed, strength, and goal-scoring ability, we are confident that under our wings, he can continue to develop and take the next steps in his career."

"For me, it’s a dream come true to sign a contract with such a big, historic club like Feyenoord," says Osundina about his transfer to Rotterdam. "I would describe myself as a fast forward who loves to score goals. My goal is to develop further here into a better player, and my gut feeling tells me that Feyenoord can help me with that."

Osundina, who grew up in Redmond (Washington), began his football career at Crossfire Premier, where he played for six seasons. In the summer of 2020, he made the move to Barça Residency Academy. With the U19 team of FC Barcelona's youth residency club, he had success, including in the MLS Next Cup. In recent seasons, the forward has been contracted to Orange County SC, which competes in the USL Championship, and with which Feyenoord has had a partnership since the beginning of this year.
