Feyenoord and Jessica Torny, head coach of Feyenoord Women 1, have mutually agreed to part ways.
Manon Melis, Head of Women's Football at Feyenoord: *"We are grateful to Jessica for everything she has meant to Feyenoord. Following discussions, we concluded that this is the right time for us to go our separate ways. We wish her every success in the next stage of her career.’
‘I look back on my time at Feyenoord with great pride,’ said Torny. ‘Together with the team, we made significant progress, with qualification for European football as the highlight. After three and a half years, I am bringing this chapter to a close. I have confidence in what the future holds and would like to thank everyone for the cooperation.’
Torny joined Feyenoord in the winter of 2023 and played an important role in the development of the club's women's football programme. Under the Vriezenveen native, Feyenoord finished third in the league last season, securing qualification for European football for the first time in the club's history.
Feyenoord will announce a new head coach for Feyenoord Women 1 in due course.
