Feyenoord and Torino FC have reached an agreement on the loan transfer of Marcus Pedersen with an option to buy. The 24-year-old Norwegian, who still has an ongoing contract at De Kuip until mid-2026, already played on a rental basis in Serie A for U.S. Sassuolo Calcio last season and is now making another move to Italy.
Pedersen, like teammate and fellow Norwegian Fredrik Aursnes, came to Feyenoord from Molde FK in the summer of 2021. The 23-time Norwegian international was a frequent base player in his first season, making it through Feyenoord's successful European campaign in the UEFA Europa Conference League. The following season, Pedersen also played an important role, contributing significantly to Feyenoord's national title that year with his winning goal against AZ.
In total, Pedersen played 89 games for Feyenoord 1, in which, in addition to that one memorable goal, he also accounted for seven assists.
