With Tigres, Feyenoord expands its number of international collaborations as previously announced. 'Club Tigres is a very professionally managed top club in Mexico,' explains CEO Dennis te Kloese about the partnership. 'It is no coincidence that they have become national champions just like us. By strengthening ties with this club, we gain a better understanding of the Mexican market and at the same time become more visible there ourselves. This only makes both clubs stronger.'

The first step in the non-exclusive collaboration is the internship at the Feyenoord Academy for a pair of Mexican talents and a coach from the Tigres academy. This will take place in September. Furthermore, the clubs will exchange information in the area of football techniques, for both men and women, and may also develop activities and exchanges in the commercial field and in the area of social responsibility.

Feyenoord has previously concluded partnership agreements with FC Dordrecht, Orange County FC, Japan's Urawa Red Diamonds, and Lion City Sailors FC from Singapore.
