Feyenoord know what winning is again

Feyenoord recorded their first win in over a month on Sunday. NAC Breda were beaten 2-0 at their own Kuip.

The blow to the afternoon was the loss of Santiago Gimenez, who was injured after half an hour and left the pitch on a stretcher. His replacement Ayase Ueda then needed only a few minutes to strike. On a pass from Gijs Smal, the Japanese player nodded his effort in: 1-0.

Feyenoord were never in trouble, but it took until a quarter of an hour before time for the game to be decided. After a handball, Quinten Timber shot 2-0 from 11 metres out. Shortly afterwards, Facundo González made his official debut as a substitute
