Feyenoord let victory slip through their fingers in Groningen

Feyenoord let an almost certain victory slip through their fingers on Saturday evening. Coach Brian Priske's team had a 0-2 lead ten minutes into the second half, but two late goals from the home side gave the hosts another two points.

Feyenoord took the lead through an own goal by Thom van Bergen. After Igor Paixão's header deep into the second half, the game seemed to be clinched, until it all went wrong in the closing stages.

Jordan Lotomba made his official Feyenoord debut as a starting player, Ibrahim Osman and Julián Carranza did so as substitutes.

Feyenoord's next match is next Thursday at home against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
