The Mexican, already on a roll since his return anyway, had three goals to grab before half-time. Two of them by head; one from a Calvin Stengs corner kick and the other after a gossamer assist from Anis Hadj Moussa. In between, he also capitalised on a penalty kick after he himself was brought down in the box.
Other highlight was Dávid Hancko's goal shortly after half-time, not least because of Givairo Read's fine assist. The young back also seemed to score his first goal for the club moments later, only it was disallowed due to hands by Antoni Milambo. In the closing stages, the fifth Feyenoord goal came from an own goal by Suf Podgoreanu.
Brian Priske saw Igor Paixão out with an injury after 20 minutes. Feyenoord's last two games before the winter break are Tuesday away against MVV (KNVB Beker) and PSV (next Sunday in Eindhoven).
