Feyenoord presents debut coins

Feyenoord views the club logo as much more than just a symbol of the team. It represents something much greater. Anyone who wears the logo represents the club - always and everywhere. Whatever it takes.

“Whatever it takes” embodies what Feyenoord stands for and reminds players and fans to give everything it takes when they represent the club and wear the logo. And so the logo also plays a central role in what Feyenoord’s players want to convey when they reach an important milestone.

That is why, from now on, the logo is linked to a personal milestone that a player achieves while wearing the Feyenoord jersey. Every player who makes his or her official debut for the club receives the logo in the form of a coin. This also applies when a player signs a contract with the club, makes his or her debut, and when he or she has played 100 official matches for Feyenoord - and subsequently at 200, 300, and so on. The corresponding number is therefore inscribed on the coin’s logo.

The coin has been distributed retroactively to all players on the current Feyenoord first-team roster who have ever made their debut. Starting this coming weekend, debutants will receive the coin immediately after the conclusion of their respective matches.
