Hugo Bueno is Feyenoord's newest addition. The 21-year-old defender is on loan until mid-2025 from Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers, and his arrival provides Feyenoord with more options at left-back.
'As soon as the opportunity arose to play for Feyenoord this season, I knew I had to grab it,' Bueno says. 'This is a huge club, with fantastic supporters, where every game is about winning. I love that. I can't wait to play my first game for Feyenoord and be important for the team.'
Born in Vigo, Spain, Bueno began his soccer career at local soccer school ED Val Miñor and clubs UD Comesaña and CD Areosa. There he was scouted by Wolverhampton Wanderers, who transferred him from Areosa's youth academy in 2019. For the Premier League club, the left wing defender officially made 48 appearances after making his debut in October 2022.
At Feyenoord, Bueno will play with jersey number 16.
