Malcolm Jeng will wear the Feyenoord shirt this season. The 20-year-old central defender joins on loan from French side Stade de Reims, with an option to buy included in the deal. The talented left-footer provides Feyenoord with an additional option in central defence.
‘It feels good to be here and I’m proud to have signed for Feyenoord,’ says Jeng. ‘Two days ago I heard that the club was interested in me and everything moved quickly from there. It immediately felt like the right step. The stadium is fantastic, the club is top, and I only hear good things about the supporters.
‘Feyenoord is a big club playing in a big league, so I’m looking forward to continuing my development here as a player. The club has told me they see me as a talent and I believe Feyenoord has all the conditions I need to keep improving. Hopefully I can contribute to bringing success to the club.’
Jeng is a Swedish youth international who joined the academy of IFK Haninge in Stockholm at an early age. At sixteen he moved to IK Sirius, where he made his professional debut in April 2023. After 52 official appearances for Sirius, the 1.90m defender was signed by Stade de Reims last winter.
Jeng will wear the number 31 shirt at Feyenoord.
