Seunggyun Bae will officially become a Feyenoord player from 1 July 2025. Bae, who turns 18 at the end of this month, comes over from Seoul-based South Korean football club Boin. The South Korean youth international signed a contract in Seoul in the presence of his parents that will tie him to the Rotterdammers until mid-2028.
‘For me, this all still feels like a dream,’ says Seunggyun Bae. ‘I felt at home with the club at the internship and will now try very hard to be of value for Feyenoord.’
Seunggyun Bae was born on 22 April 2007 in Seoul. In that city, he is a member of the football team at Boin high school, the school of Boin football club that is highly regarded in the country for its excellent football training and with which Feyenoord will collaborate in the coming years.
Due to his versatility, Seunggyun can play in multiple positions in midfield. The South Korea youth international, who is thus among the best players of his age group, previously completed a period of training at Feyenoord in which he impressed. Seunggyun now gets the opportunity to develop further at Feyenoord.
