Feyenoord U17 are crowned national champions once again

Feyenoord U17 have become national champions for the third consecutive time. The team coached by Jimmy Lucassen defeated their counterparts from Sparta Rotterdam 4–1 on Tuesday evening to secure the spring championship. Having already claimed the autumn title earlier in the season, the national championship is now officially confirmed.

Captain Mik Akkermans opened the scoring after just 15 minutes, before Nicky Rueck doubled the lead a minute later. In the closing stages of the first half, a goal from Ilai Grootfaam ensured that Feyenoord U17 went into the dressing room with a commanding lead.

In the second half, the visitors from Rotterdam-West pulled one back, but the final word went to Feyenoord. A goal from Jerayno Schaken sealed the 4–1 result, confirming the national championship.
