Feyenoord struggled to get three points from the away match against RKC Waalwijk on Saturday. Brian Priske's team went behind early on and gave up a lead deep into the second half, but eventually stepped off the pitch victorious: 2-3.
The spoils seemed to be in when Anis Hadj Moussa put Feyenoord ahead shortly after half-time, signing for his fifth goal in the last six games. However, the home side - shared bottom of the Eredivisie - were then left alive and that led to another goal a quarter of an hour before time.
It was Igor Paixão who saved his side from another points loss; a well-judged shot put the game in their favour. It also set a club record, as Feyenoord went unbeaten in 20 consecutive Eredivisie matches. The previous club record dated from October 1978-November 1979 (19 games in a row).
Feyenoord's next match is next Wednesday, at home against Sparta Prague in the Champions League (start 21:00).
