Feyenoord O21 clinched the autumn championship at Varkenoord on Saturday afternoon. The promising team won heavily against SC Cambuur O21 (6-1) and then saw direct rival ADO Den Haag lose points, securing first place in the league.
After a scoreless first half, coach Pascal Bosschaart's team gained momentum especially in the closing stages of the match. Goals by Fabiano Rust, Jayden Candelaria, Joey De Bie (2x), Amir Rais and Divaio Bobson led to the eventual 6-1 victory.
Feyenoord O21 will take on number two ADO Den Haag O21 on Saturday 14 December. The game will be played at 15:00 at home ground Varkenoord.
