Feyenoord V1 and Ajax play out goalless draw at Johan Cruijff Arena

Feyenoord and Ajax played out a draw on Saturday afternoon. The match between the numbers 4 and 3 in the Eurojackpot Vrouwen Eredivisie was full of intensity, but no goals were scored: 0–0.

The team of Jessica Torny had a tough first half at the Johan Cruijff Arena. Feyenoord defender Justine Brandau cleared a ball off the line after half an hour, and the home side also hit the post before the break.

After halftime, Feyenoord improved and created chances. The biggest opportunity came ten minutes before the end, when Esmee de Graaf just failed to get a touch on a sharp cross from Zera Hulswit.

With the draw, both Feyenoord and Ajax remain in contention for the top positions, although FC Twente Women and PSV Women still have the chance later this afternoon to extend their lead in points.
