Feyenoord V1 build confidence with win in Utrecht

On a difficult pitch, both sides made a sloppy start. Feyenoord gradually saw more of the ball in the first half, but struggled to turn that possession into clear-cut chances. The score remained 0-0 at half-time.

After an hour, Utrecht had a big opportunity following a misplaced back-pass, but the effort went over. Shortly afterwards, Feyenoord threatened through Ilayah Dostmohamed and Sterre Kroezen, but both attempts were saved.

The breakthrough finally came in the 68th minute. Zera Hulswit, who had only just come on, provided the assist for Tori DellaPeruta to make it 0-1. DellaPeruta then added her second of the afternoon in the 82nd minute.

In stoppage time, Nassira Akachar made her Feyenoord debut. Within seconds, she marked the occasion with a goal to make it 0-3.

The victory gives Feyenoord a positive feeling heading into Wednesday, when Vålerenga await in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.
