Visiting Leuven, Jessica Torny’s team started the match well. After just 11 minutes, Ella Van Kerkhoven opened the scoring. Her header from a free kick first hit the crossbar, but she converted the rebound: 0-1.

Clear-cut chances didn’t follow, although Feyenoord were clearly the stronger side. In the 66th minute, Mao Itamura came close to making it 0-2, but her shot bounced off the top of the crossbar.

Torny’s team seemed to be heading for the win, but in the 84th minute OH Leuven unexpectedly equalized. However, a spectacular finale completely turned the game on its head.

As stoppage time began, Dechamaily Lont restored Feyenoord’s lead with the 1-2, but even then the match wasn’t over. The home side quickly managed to level again.

In the very last seconds of the match, Noëlle van der Sluijs was able to tap in a cross from Kirsten van de Westeringh, sealing the 2-3 victory.
