Feyenoord claimed their fifth consecutive victory on Sunday evening, beating sc Heerenveen 6–1 at Varkenoord. The goals came from Celainy Obispo (2), Ella Van Kerkhoven, Akari Takeshige, Esmee de Graaf, and Mao Itamura.
In the opening phase, the visitors from Friesland started furiously. Feyenoord struggled to contain sc Heerenveen, and goalkeeper Jacintha Weimar had to make several important saves.
After ten minutes, Ella Van Kerkhoven opened the scoring by heading in a corner to make it 1–0.
Heerenveen managed to equalize, but before halftime, another Feyenoord corner led to a goal — this time from Akari Takeshige, who also scored with her head to put Feyenoord ahead 2–1.
Second half
After the break, Feyenoord struck four more times — three of them again from corners. Celainy Obispo (twice) and Esmee de Graaf found the net from set pieces, and just before the final whistle, Mao Itamura made it 6–1 from open play.
